Dev Log 0.2

This update contains art asset improvement, core game mechanic updates and musical progress.

The team met up in person as well as on Discord at various points between dev log 0.1 and the current logs. We created a game design document (which is now live on our project page) and discussed in detail about goals, tasks and scope for our game! 

Art Bees:

Updated grass geometry shader, water shader, honey jar fill shader and cel shader. Created environment lighting, lightmapping , shadows, post processing and lights for day and night (night not in dev build at this stage). 

Created UI for sunflower, concept art and bee model update. Created daisies, peonies, sunflowers and rose bushes and added these to the dev branch with the scriptable objects from the cs bees. Added tree asset into dev branch.

Created house model and unwrapped it for texturing at a later date. 

Created tree assets with shader graph additions to work in engine and started work on background tree assets. 

Started level design greyboxing for game area. Added Universal Render Pipeline to dev (URP yay)

  

Cs Bees:

Updated the bee script to adjust speed and feel of bees. Added scriptable objects for the flower assets and set up product, flower objects, tags for flowers and run time rendering for flowers! 

Worked on catalouge UI canvas with basic art assets to get it to appear and be interacted with and created menu system that can swap between the UI that we have.

Audio Bees:

Created a demo draft for the menu music for feedback.

Continued work on in-game music. 

(Still figuring out how to add audio files to itch.io if it's even possible without uploading it elsewhere! But trust these bees are doing some amazing scores right now!!)
